How we handle your details

Short version: we collect what a removals enquiry needs, we use it to handle your enquiry and your move, and we don't sell it to anyone. The longer version follows.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry (through the form or the Driveway Scope), we receive what you type: typically your name, phone number, email if you give one, the suburbs involved, and whatever you tell us about the house and the move. If you later share photos of access or rooms, we receive those too. We don't ask for, and you shouldn't send, anything beyond what the move needs.

What we use it for

  • Responding to your enquiry and calling you back.
  • Scoping, planning and carrying out a move you book.
  • Keeping a record of what was discussed and agreed, so the day matches the plan.

We may share your enquiry with a suitable local provider to service your request; whoever handles your move sees only what they need to handle it. We don't sell your details, rent them, or add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for. There's no newsletter here to be added to.

Keeping bots out

The form carries one quiet check against automated spam: a hidden field that only bots fill in. No puzzle for you to solve, and nothing that builds a profile of you. It exists so junk doesn't bury a real enquiry.

Where it lives

Enquiries are delivered and stored through secure cloud infrastructure with access limited to the people handling your job. Website analytics, where used, are aggregate: page counts, not profiles.

Your choices

Ask us at any time to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them, via the contact form. Deleting an active job's details mid-move isn't practical (we'd lose your plan), but once a job is done, deletion is a routine request and we honour it.

Cookies and tools

The Driveway Scope runs entirely in your browser; the answers you pick reach us only if you choose to send them with an enquiry. This site works without accepting anything, and there's no tracking wall between you and the content.

If any of this changes in a way that matters, this page changes with it.
